GRUT
GRUT is an ultimate frisbee team. Born as a small team of friends based in Amsterdam, GRUT has evolved into one of Europe's premier ultimate frisbee teams. With a string of national and international titles under our belt, including the coveted 3-time European Champion status, we're on a relentless pursuit of one ultimate goal – becoming World Champions.
Who we are
What we do
The team started in 2013 and managed to dominate the European frisbee scene in the years that came. In 2018, we made our first attempt at a world title and secured seventh place. Four years later, we returned to the world stage and achieved fifth place, becoming the highest-ranked European team in our division.
In order to achieve our ultimate goal we are constantly striving to improve our game. To that end, we train and compete at the highest level.
What is ultimate frisbee?
Ultimate frisbee is one of the fastest growing sports at the moment: it's active, spirited & highly challenging. Frisbee is also teamsport, where each team has seven players in the field. A point is scored when the players manage to catch the frisbee in the goal of the opponent.
